Michael: Drinking Liberally in Tucson

Drinking LiberallyDrinking Liberally has come to Tucson. Drinking Liberally is a social network for liberals who like their politics neat over ice. There are no agendas or talking points, just some people hanging out with like-minded people over a few drinks.

Meetings are Thursdays at 6pm at the BoonDocks Lounge on 1st and Ft. Lowell (3306 N. First Avenue). Hope to see you there.

Kind of like 'reality-based.'

Your thorough knowledge of the terminology of imbibing hard liquor is impressive, Benway. One might be tempted to infer something from your comfort and facility with the slang of barflies.

Well then, my plan is working. I've always intended this blog to drive conservatives to drink.

Michael,

As promised, I've put you up on the front page. Good luck, and don't be discouraged if things start slow.

Except for the tweakers, every single conservative I know is a mean and stupid drunk. And they drink cheap plonk too. You know, the "comes in a can but tastes like it comes in a bottle" stuff. Yikes.

Sheesh, the last Republican wedding I went to the bride was of course 5 months pregnant and one of the poor girls from her previous relationship was a flower girl and even the freakin champagne (which I did not dare to even hold in a glass, I toasted with water,) CAME IN CANS!

Nice people, though, so long as you don't bring up anything that has anything to do with having any kind of education at all. Or politics.
