They're Gonna Party Like There is No Tomorrow
I have become an advocate for embracing religious values as part of the Democratic Party's mission to energize liberal Christian, and other religious voters. However, I am not in favor of embracing the damaging and world-hating views of millenniarian apocolyptics. Bill Moyers recently wrote a column in the Minneapolis Star Tribune about how close to the center of power apocolyse fanatics have come, and how they are trying to drag us over the brink to fulfill their religious programme. No matter if Democrats embrace religion, we cannot include fanatics, bigots, or people who are so impatient for the world to end, that they try to push it over the edge.
