Commander in Chief is AWOL

The Boston Globe reports that a new release of Bush's Gaurd records show that Bush never completed his Guard obligations. Bush should not have received an honorable discharge. In fact, he should have been sent to Vietnam as a punative measure for failure to complete his obligation, or court-martialed.

This is not front page news yet, but it should be. Today in Southern AZ this story ran on page A8 in the AZ Daily Star. In the AZ Republic the true import of the story was buried beneath polling data, rehashing of Swift Boat lies, and a welter of unconnected details of Bush's pilot training given carefully out of context. This story won't emerge into the sort of blockbuster issue which the Administration will be forced to address unless there is a furious outcry by the public that the media cover this story, and cover it right.

Call, don't email, the editorial teams of your local newspapers and television news stations and demand to know more. Demand tough questions be answered. Demand full coverage. If you don't, Bush, a known deserter, could be re-elected to be Commander-in-Chief in the midst of a war he started with lies and fear. This is your time. If you don't do something now, the result is YOUR fault. Get busy! Do it now! Do it tommorrow! Do it every day until that useless traitorous chimp is driven from office!
