Intel: Babbitt's Warchest

Paul Babbitt's campaign has raised over $700,000.00 to date and is on track to raise over a million. During the second quarter, which is frequently considered the best indicator of a campaign's momentum by the press, the campaign raised $450,000, which is the most of any Democratic Congressional challenger in the country. Wow! This is a good indicator of how important this race is, and how hard Democrats are working to knock Renzi down. In contrast, when Renzi was running to take CD 1 hostage in 2002's second quarter, he raised the princely sum of $43,185, less that 1/10th of Babbitt's haul over the same period this year.

Things are looking good to take CD 1 back for the people of CD 1.
